Saffron recipes
Saffron recipes are not things you run across every day.
So when you do run across one of these recipes, you should be excited
to give it a try.
Many saffron recipes are included with one of a few different dishes.
These dishes include:
• Soups – because soups can sometimes
be considered to be a bit bland or boring, there is a great way that
you can liven them up. Saffron recipes for soups are usually favorites
among diners because the saffron provides a surprise element that most
people do not expect from their soup.
• Pastas – These saffron recipes are especially
popular in Mediterranean areas. Although it is typical to think of all
kinds of oregano or sauces on pasta, saffron provides a change of pace
in these dishes and many people find it to be a pleasant dish.
• Stews – There is something about the
pungent, honey-like taste of saffron that can bring a completely different
taste to stews.
Even though it may seem like the saffron recipes are not calling for
enough saffron, it is a fact that it requires very little of this spice
to make a big impact. Do not use more than the recipe calls for. The
taste is likely to be too big and you will be throwing money out the
window.
